***I have 2 posts today! If you are looking for my Play Date Cafe post, please scroll down - Thanks so much! ***

Hi Everyone! Here to share a variety of cards all featuring the NEW My Time Made Easy © Petal Perfection & Just For You stamps & the My Time Made Easy © Fresh Fabric digital paper. ALL are available TODAY for purchase at the My Time Made Easy LLC. webstore! Lauren & ALL the MTME DT girls will be sharing their wonderful cards, so please be sure to stop by to see what they have created!

First up, I have 2 cards that I made using this fun horizontal sketch!

Many of the gorgeous sentiments from the © Just For You set, fit perfectly nested in the center of the Spellbinders Petite Ovals Small dies which then can be layered on top of the Spellbinders Labels Four, making a fabulous focal point!

I inked up several of flower stamps & a leaf image from the © Petal Perfection set & randomly stamped to create the background paper in the upper left corner. In the lower right corner, I stitched a piece of the new © Fresh Fabric digi paper. It is available in many different colors so be sure to visit the MTME store to see this fabulous collection!

One of my favorite "go to" MTME digi papers is the © Fluttering By collection. I just really love the whimsical script font that is featured in this paper! I cut the sweet butterfly embellishment on each card from a scrap of the © Fluttering By paper using a Spellbinders Butterfly die, layered it x2, rubbed on a bit of Ranger Vintage Photo ink & placed a Martha Stewart pearl in the center.

Next up, I have these 2 cards I made using one of my favorite vertical sketches.

I stamped these 2 cards using the both the © Petal Perfection & © Just For You stamps to share with you the versatility of these amazing stamps! Both sets have sooo many images, making it not an easy task to share them all, so head on over to the MTME store & check them out!

This vertical sketch really showcases the beautiful © Fresh Fabric digi paper as well as the new MTME stamps!

I made the multi-layered tissue paper flower embellishments using the Spellbinders Blossom Two dies, centered it on the ornate frame cut using the Spellbinders Labels Nine die & placed a beautiful American Crafts pearl in the center.

That's all I have to share today, I will be back Saturday, April 3rd with an all new MTME project! Please be sure to stop by ALL the MTME DT's blogs, EVERYONE will be sharing their amazing cards with you then once you are full of inspiration head on over to the MTME webstore & take a look at all the wonderful products available for purchase TODAY! Just A note...PDCC23 29

Mona Pendleton | @ 8:57 PM | , ,

***I have 2 posts today, if you are looking for my My Time Made Easy post, please continue to scroll up - Thanks so much!***

Hi Everyone! Time again for another Creativity Challenge at The Play Date Cafe! This week Sarah is our fabulous Hostess who has chosen this beautiful photo as inspiration for this week's challenge!
Here is my "Just a note" card:When I saw the colors for this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge #23, PDCC23, this gorgeous digital photo that I printed several months ago came to mind! I absolutely love the various shades of blue! I used a Fiskars scissors to cut around the edges of the digi photo, rubbed a bit of Ranger Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink around the edges & stitched it on to my card!

Using the brayering technique, I inked up my brayer with some SU Bashful Blue ink, applied it to the Cuttlebug embossing folder then ran it through my die cutting machine! This has to be at the top of my favorite technique lists - the brayer/embossing technique - using your stamp pads along with ANY embossing folder - you can create ANY color of embossed paper you like!

I added a bit of Ranger Perfect Pearls to the distressed flower embellishment for a little extra color! It is a bit tricky to capture the beauty of the shimmery Perfect Pearls but it is rather pretty when seen with the naked eye! :)

I hope you can join along with this week's creativity challenge. After you have made your project, please head on over to The Play Date Cafe & link your post to Mr. Linky. If you post your creations in an on-line gallery, please label it PDCC23. Be sure to see what all The Play Date Cafe DT girls have created, (on my side bar) to share with you for inspiration! I hope you are able to join along with this week's challenge. Be Sweet!

Take Time For Someone Special...MTME April Release 73

Mona Pendleton | Sunday, March 28, 2010 @ 8:57 PM | ,

Hi There! I am here to share a Sneak Peek using the NEW My Time Made Easy © Pick of the Petals template & the My Time Made Easy © Petal Perfection, Take Time & Just For You stamps that will be available April 1st! Pam & Lauren will also be sharing some beautiful creations today, so please hop on over to their blogs to see what they have created with these awesome products!

Here is my Bath gift set:

The © Pick of the Petals template is absolutely gorgeous! It makes for a perfect, any occasion gift box & it may look a bit intimidating to make but do not be fooled! It is super easy & the results are stunning!

(Note: you can rotate this image 360 degrees by doing the following... Within the photo, click and drag your mouse pointer to the left or right to spin the box! You can also use the left and right arrows on your keyboard or use the left and right arrows icons. You can also zoom in or out to get a better view of the box by using the (+) and (-) icons. Lastly, you can simply press the Play icon (circular arrow) to rotate the box automatically. Give it a try!)

Upon Lauren's request, I showcased the beautiful template to coincide with the © Take Time stamps which is a "Bath/Spa" themed set that has many useful images as you will surely see over the next week :) I inked up several flower & petal images from the © Petal Perfection set & randomly stamped away adding so much color to the simple K&Company DP - giving it an entirely new look :) The © Petal Perfections set is packed with many beautiful flower images & if you are like me - you can't have enough flowers in your garden or stamp collection :)

From this aerial view, you can see how wonderfully the lil' bag of bath salts & small netted body scrubber fits inside. This amazing template would make the perfect presentation for a cupcake baked for that special someone! ;)

To make this ornate tag, I inked up & stamped the "For Someone Special" image from the © Just For You set then cut it out with a Spellbinders Petite Ovals Large die then layered it with several pieces of cs cut with Spellbinders Labels Four dies.

Repeating the steps above, I made this tag that adorns the bag of bath salts & scrubber substituting the sentiment. Both of the "Bath Salts & Mind-Body-Soul" images are from the © Take Time set which is FULL of many images!

That's all I have for today! Remember to stop by & see what Pam & Lauren have created using these fabulous MTME products! I will be sharing more throughout the week as will the girls on the MTME DT! Thanks for looking - Be Sweet!

JustRite MEGA March Blog Hop Day 3 530

Mona Pendleton | Thursday, March 25, 2010 @ 6:00 AM |

***I have 2 posts today - if you are looking for my Play Date Cafe post, please continue to scroll down - Thanks :) ***

Hi Everyone! Today I am participating in the JustRite Mega March Blog Hop! There are over 80 Designers sharing their creations with you & amazing prize giveaways! I am sharing a card featuring the JustRite Breath of Spring Borders & Centers stamp set.

Here is my gratitude card:

This is the 1st JustRite stamp set I have ever inked up & let me tell you, these are some amazing stamps!

After inking up the flower image & coloring it using my Copic markers, I cut it out using a Spellbinders Large Classic Oval die & set aside. To make the layer with the border image, I repeated the previous steps minus the use of Copic markers. The JustRite Breath of Spring Borders & Centers contains 4 different floral images & 4 decorative borders that can all be easily mixed & matched allowing for endless ways to use each stamp!

For a little extra dimension, I stamped the floral image a second time then colored, cut out & adhered it to the main image. I love how the JustRite stamps fit perfectly with the various Spellbinders dies - fabulous results!

Ingredients Used:

Stamps: JustRite Breath of Spring Borders & Centers

Paper: My Mind's Eye DP, Papertrey Ink

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Ranger Tim Holtz Antique Photo ink, Copic Markers

Sprinkles: Spellbinders #S4-111 Classic Scalloped Ovals Large, #S4-110 Classic Ovals Large, Crop - A - Dile 11, Fiskars Border punch, Martha Stewart pearls, Making Memories hardware

Now for the Blog Hop details:

Over 80 designers, FIVE shopping sprees each day. No one knows where the prizes will be! Each day of the hop JustRite will have five Mystery Blog Candy Prizes hidden along the hop with a total retail value of $600. JustRite will randomly select five mystery blogs each day of the hop and randomly allocate each of the shopping sprees. *thank you*...PDCC22 46

Mona Pendleton | Wednesday, March 24, 2010 @ 8:57 PM |

Hi Everyone! Thanks so much to all of you who played along with last week's color challenge at The Playdate Cafe. So many pretty creations. This week Julie has challenged us to use the following fun colors:
Here is my take on this week's colors:
I dug out some Fiskars scissors & put them to good use! I made the border trim & cut out the BINGO stamped image with 2 different decorative scissors.
To create this multi-layered tissue paper flower, I cut out many layers of Mulberry paper using the Spellbinders Blossom die, crinkled them in my hand then rubbed on a bit of Ranger Antique Photo ink. In this photo, you can see the shimmery Ranger Perfect Pearls that I applied to the flourishes. That powder is so easy to use & its effects are unbelievable!
I like the decorative trim around the BINGO image! I rubbed on a bit on Ranger distressing ink & after stitching it in place, I folded up the edges for a little dimension :)

That's all for now! I will be back at 9:00 EST today, sharing my creation for the JustRite March Mega Blog Hop. It is one amazing hop full of give aways, so I hope you stop by!

I hope you can join along with this week's creativity challenge. After you have made your project, please head on over to The Play Date Cafe & link your post to Mr. Linky. Be sure to see what all The Play Date Cafe DT girls have created, (on my side bar), & Jean Franks Beck, our Guest Designer for March, to share with you for inspiration! I hope you are able to join along with this week's challenge. Be Sweet!

Here comes Peter Cottontail!...JUGS25 48

Mona Pendleton | Friday, March 19, 2010 @ 8:57 PM | , ,

Hi Everyone! Thanks to all who played along last week & made a flap fold card :) This week Lisa, is our wonderful Hostess for the Just Us Girls Color Challenge #25, JUGS25 & has colored our world with some fun pastel colors! I hope you come play with Just Us Girls & our March Featured Designer: Stephanie.
Here is my Easter Greetings card:
I randomly stamped the Easter egg image using the various pastel colors to create the background paper on the upper half of the card. To create the lower half background paper, I inked up my brayer with SU Bashful Blue ink & applied it to a Quikutz embossing folder then ran a piece of cs through my die cutting machine. I have always said "one stampers trash, is another stampers treasure"! Peter Rabbit here is my little treasure! :) Several years ago, our dear friends Linda & Tony relocated from Phoenix to Austin. Linda lightened her load & sold all of her stamping supplies to me because she no longer stamped! Yahoo! Peter Rabbit hopped right down the bunny trail & found a new home! My stamp collection :)

To make the bottom decorative border, I inked up the Easter egg image, stamped with the various inks, then cut each out individually & adhered them to the Martha Stewart punched border :)

I hope you join along & show us what you can do with these colors! Be Sweet :)

For complete details, please visit the Just Us Girls challenge site & be sure to visit ALL the DT girls (found on my side bar) as well as Stephanie. Once you have your project photographed, be sure to go to Just Us Girls and post a direct link to your creation on our site. If you upload to on online gallery, please be sure to label your project as JUGS25.

Deadline to be considered for the weekly "Chic of the Week" will be 9:00 PM EST on Thursday, March 25th. Our Inlinkz tool will also close at that time. Our top pick "Chic of the Week" will be announced on Friday morning following the deadline.

Mon Amie...PDCC21 61

Mona Pendleton | Wednesday, March 17, 2010 @ 9:00 PM | , ,

Hi Everyone! It is time for another Creativity Challenge at The Play Date Cafe! This week, I chose this beautiful photo featuring cherry blossoms - a sure sign Spring has sprung! I think the various shades of pink with yellow scattered about makes for a fabulous color palette for this week's Play Date Cafe Creativity Challenge #21, PDCC21.
Here is my Mon Amie card:

I made this card for a special friend. The beautiful DP is from K&Company. After stitching the pieces together, I stamped the Prima Crown image.

I love the beautiful font used for the SU Mon Amie sentiment & the whimsical ornate Prima design that frames it. After stamping both of these images, I cut them out using a # S4-112 Classic Ovals Small die. I inked up one of the Gina K. Designs from the Lovely Labels set that fits perfectly within a Spellbinders Labels 4 die, sponged the edges a bit with SU Creamy Caramel ink then layered these pieces together.

I like the contrast of this beautiful bright pink rose against the pale yellow butterfly. I interpreted the image in the pebble as 2 friends which I thought was a great accent piece on this card made for a special friend. I didn't even realize Prima made stamps as well as flowers! My DH surprised me & ordered a few sets of Prima clear stamps & several colors of beautiful roses, like the bright pink one you see here :) Being my 24/7 tech support life line - he created this gorgeous graphic for this week's challenge :)

Here are a few photos of the Eiffel Tower I would like to share from a trip that my DH & I took while visiting Paris a few years ago. You can sort of get a sense of it's actual size by this photo.

It is such a magnificent structure!

When all lit up at night, it really looks just as beautiful when in day light!

I would love to know if you have been to Paris?

That's all for now! I hope you can join along with this week's creativity challenge. After you have made your project, please head on over to The Play Date Cafe & link your post to Mr. Linky. If you post your creations in an on-line gallery, please label it PDCC21. Be sure to see what all The Play Date Cafe DT girls have created, (on my side bar), & Jean Franks Beck, our Guest Designer for March, to share with you for inspiration! I hope you are able to join along with this week's challenge. Be Sweet!
